Vanessa Jones Briscoe

Vanessa Jones Briscoe, PhD, MSN, APRN

Administrator/Director of Nursing

Vanessa Jones Briscoe is the Founder of VIP Homecare Solutions and currently serves as the Administrator and Director of Nursing for the organization. She is prepared and equipped with the expertise necessary for the successful execution of these roles. Vanessa is accountable for the organizational and nursing practice across all the agency’s home healthcare services, which include Skilled and Personal Care services. In these roles, Vanessa supervises the entire organizational operation. Her responsibilities include planning, coordination, leading, controlling, and evaluating the agency’s services.

Vanessa’s over 20 years of skill and practice in the healthcare industry include leadership roles in research, education, clinical, and management experiences. For many years, Vanessa has been an educator and health advocate for older adults. She has played and continues to play an active part in the community at local and national levels. Vanessa served nationally on the Board of Directors of the American Diabetes Association (ADA). And locally, she held a position in the Volusia County Council on Aging (COA) Board of Directors and currently serves on the ElderSource Board of Directors, Jacksonville, FL.

Christine Heusner Robinson

Christine Heusner Robinson, MSN, BSN

Alternate Administrator/Alternate Director of Nursing

In her roles as the Alternate Administrator and Alternate Director of Nursing, Christine assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of the VIP Homecare Solutions’ nursing services in the absence of the Administrator and Director of Nursing. She communicates directly with administrative and nursing staff, as well as with patients and their families to coordinate care and services. She coordinates all the administrative and financial activities of the agency according to the policies and standards.

Christine’s 20 plus years of practice in academics and healthcare, includes leadership roles in education, clinical practice, and management experiences. Prior positions have included Nurse Manager, Clinical Coordinator, and Community Liaison.

Christine is a caregiver to her mother and several older adults in her community. One of her professional goals is to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals to become caring and competent clinicians and leaders in their communities.

Candice Gentry

Candice Gentry, DNP, MPH, RN

Chief Information Consultant

Candice Gentry partners with VIP Homecare Solutions as our Chief Information Consultant, offering information technology leadership and marketing strategies across the agency. Candice is an innovative and forward-seeking strategist with over 17 years of experience in healthcare. While optimizing advancements in information technology, she has demonstrated success in directing healthcare operations, enhancing patient services, maximizing operational efficiency, and leading healthcare organizations across the continuum of care.

Candice holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Spalding University. She also has a Master of Public Health from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Health and Human Performance from the University of Louisville.

Sandra C. Strapp

Sandra C. Strapp

Administrative Assistant

Sandra C. Strapp is the Administrative Assistant of VIP Homecare Solutions. In this position, Sandra works closely with the administrators and numerous principal associates, providing administrative assistance. She serves as the primary contact for our community partners and provides technical and logistical support on the agency’s projects. Sandra’s responsibilities also include assistance with the coordination of various activities, meetings, conferences, and workshops for the agency.

Sandra C. Strapp received her certification in Records Management and Information Systems from San Francisco State University through the Association of Records Managers and Administrators International. Prior employment includes working in the Volusia County School System and with the State of Florida in the Division of Elder Affairs.

Sandra serves on the Board of Directors for Volusia Volunteers in Medicine. She is active and holds leadership positions in several community organizations.
